Our mission is to put people to work.

About us

Goodwill of North Georgia, a 501(c)(3) corporation, provides job training and employment services to people who are having trouble finding work, want to change careers, or start their own business. With the agency’s support, Goodwill participants overcome employment hurdles caused by physical, emotional and developmental disabilities, limited job skills, poverty and other challenges. We sell donated clothing, books, furniture and household goods in stores across North Georgia, and the proceeds help fund our mission to put people to work. Since 1925, your donations have been helping to change lives.

Certified EVSE Technician *Willing to relocate*

I am excited to share that I have received my EVSE Certification today! I feel truly blessed and honored to have accomplished such a feat. I am eternally grateful to Goodwill of North Georgia for opening this opportunity to the community and allowing someone like me to have access for gaining skills in such a cutting-edge industry. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the instructors at ChargerHelp! for not only teaching me in way that is simple enough to understand but for also sharing their experiences with challenges as an EVSE Tech in the field and how to overcome them. I have gained immense knowledge from you Brandon Smith, Vanden Stelly, Jonathan Kendall and I plan on using what I’ve learned to help drive the Clean Tech message of sustainability, one EVSE at a time. To my fellow classmates: Tim Sutton, W.C. Rose, April Wright, Kasele Mbungu, Raleigh Champion, Lee Allen and Tyler Myers… we did it! We’ve proved that with hard work, determination and dedication, we can achieve anything. I am blessed to have met such an amazing and supportive group. Thank you so much for your encouragement and your willingness to help. Always remember, the sky is never limit; we can reach as far as our drive will take us. It’s only up from here!
